- Go to Setup > Accounting > Fulfillable Items with SuiteBilling > Item Field Mappings > New.
2. Name the Mapping ✍️
- In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the mapping, such as “Product Key Mapping.”
- If you’re not ready to activate the mapping, check the Inactive box.
3. Select Subsidiaries 🌍
- On the right-hand side, choose one or more subsidiaries where the mapping will apply.
- Note: Only one mapping per subsidiary is allowed.
4. Configure Field Mapping Columns ⚙️
- Field Mapping Name: Enter the name, e.g., “Serial Numbers.”
- Field Identifier: Check this box if the field acts as an identifier (e.g., Serial Number or Product Key). You can set 1–2 fields as identifiers, but changes later may impact returns.
- Item Fulfillment Line Field ID: Enter the script ID for the custom field in the Item Fulfillment record.
- Distribute Values to Subscription Lines: Check this to distribute comma-separated values to subscription lines.
- Subscription Line Field ID: Add the script ID for the corresponding field in the subscription record.
- Invoice Line Field ID: Input the script ID for the field in the invoice record.
5. Include Information on Printed Invoices (Optional) 🖨️
- If you want additional information to appear on printed invoices, check the Included in Printed Invoice box.
- This is particularly useful when merging identical items.

- Only one mapping per subsidiary is allowed.
- Changes to field identifiers can impact updates and returns.
