1. Customize the Transaction Form 🧭
- Go to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.
- Choose the form you want to customize, such as the Standard Sales Order.
- Rename the form to something descriptive, e.g., “Billing Schedule Sales Order,” so it appears in the custom form dropdown during transactions.
2. Enable the Billing Schedule Column ⚙️
- Under the Sublist Fields subtab:
- Locate the Billing Schedule field and check the Show box.
- This ensures the Billing Schedule column appears in the transaction view.
3. Enable Billing Schedule in Print and Email Views 🖨️
- Change the Printing Type to Basic.
- Under the Printing Fields subtab:
- Locate the Billing Schedule column and check the box to include it in printed or emailed transactions.
- Save the custom form to apply these changes.
4. Assign Billing Schedules to Line Items 📝
- Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Enter Sales Orders.
- In the Custom Form field, select the custom form you just created (e.g., “Billing Schedule Sales Order”).
- Fill in the required fields, such as Start Date:
- If left blank, the system will default to the sales order date for the first billing date.

- Go to the Items subtab:
- If an item already has a billing schedule assigned, it will auto-fill in the Billing Schedule column.
