1. What is a Customer Credit Memo? 🤔
- A credit memo decreases the amount owed by a customer.
- Commonly issued for product returns or adjustments to customer balances.
2. Navigate to Credit Memos 🖥️
- Go to Transactions > Customers > Issue Credit Memos.
- Ensure you select the appropriate form if using custom forms.
3. Fill Out Customer Details 📝
- Select the customer for the credit memo.
- Confirm or adjust the date and, if applicable, change the posting period.
- Add the customer’s purchase order number and a memo for reference.
- Specify additional fields like department, class, or location if needed, based on your setup.
4. Enter Items or Adjustments 🛠️
- Navigate to the Items Tab.
- Select the relevant item(s) and fill out the required details.
- Add any applicable discounts or adjustments, and click Add.
5. Adjust Shipping Details 🚚
